FIRST CHAPEL

We started the year off with a BANG with our first chapel of the year. We are continuing to look further into our theme for the year: PRICELESS!!

We love having Mr. Chris lead us on guitar and learning new songs!

Pastor Mark is the BEST at explaining God's word so that our little minds can understand just what a MASTERPIECE we are in JESUS!

This year we wants our students to know they are PRICELESS! God created them in His own image and He has a purpose for their life.

The underlying Bible verse is Ephesians 2:10, "For you are God's masterpiece created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for you to do."

The Ringmaster announced each member of the circus as they presented their act. There was a balloon man, elephants, a juggler, a popcorn man, a strongman, a cowboy, square dancers, dancing teddy bears, tightrope walkers, a lion & the lion tamer, and naughty clowns. Senior kindergartners are Taylar Bailey, Lucy Harris Jackons, Cailyn Greer, Ashley Davis, Jamie Gerry, Liz Weiss, Samiyah Moore, Emma Mooney, Gaines Flowers, Jason Duraj, Grayden Meredith, Jackson Lively, Benton Gaston, Griffin Hays, Ian Morton, Colton Shepherd, and Alyssa Robinson. We defeated Goliath!!

First grade learned about Goliath this week in Bible class. They had a battle against Goliath and everyone got a turn throwing stones. Using visuals for the children really allowed them to see what a giant Goliath was and how little David was in comparison. If we trust God, we can do anything!!
