From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
— Ephesians 4:16

Our PTO was established to promote interest in the school, foster student morale, render service and work toward continued improvement to the school. Membership is comprised of all parents and guardians of currently enrolled students.

A few of the areas in which we support the school include: greenery sales, Grandparents' Day, Open House, and 6th Grade Graduation. Our major fundraiser, Hot Dog Hoedown, a family affair, is held each October and provides us the opportunity to raise funds to enhance our children's educational experience in a casual way. Money earned at past events has funded teacher workshops, new technology, science fun day, and the Mississippi River science trip.

We have placed a suggestion box in the main office, and we welcome your comments.

The secret to PTO success is the dedication and involvement of the countless parents who unselfishly volunteer in the many areas we serve. Please consider getting involved with our PTO. Call the school office and let them know if you would like to volunteer your time.

We look forward to working and serving each of you this year and hope that your involvement in the Patrons' Society will enhance your experience as a member of the PDS family. No matter your time or talent, your involvement will make a huge difference.
