6th grade pep rally
Thank you Lee Academy for inviting us to the Jr. High Pep rally and for introducing our 6th grade football players and peewee cheerleaders. We had so much fun!
Parenting is a wonderful, fun, challenging, and at times frustrating thing. It is a great honor and responsibility that God has given us children and He has given us plenty of help in the Bible on how to do that well.
We enjoyed having Dr. John L. Cox, a pyschologist from Jackson, MS, helping parents understand the needs of their children.
Dr. Cox reminded us to be a “Grace Family”, and let our children know that it is okay to fail and learn from their mistakes.
If you were not able to come, please watch our video. He had a lot of great things to say!
Thank you to everyone who came! We hope to see you again next year!
There is nothing more special than your 4th grade teacher reading to your 4th grade class!! Our own Mrs. Roberts was in Mrs. Falls 4th grade class in 1994. We love when Mrs. Falls comes back to read to us on Wednesdays in library!
We are so proud of our students for reading and writing during their summer break! The students read 876 books which was over 51,000 pages. Great job PDS students!
We are so proud of our students who qualified for the Duke TIP program! These are 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who score at or above the 95th percentile on their standardized achievement test.
4th grade - Lucy Harris Jackson, Jackson Smith, Gaines Flowers, and Jackson Lively
5th grade - Evan Dean, Kylee Whiting, and Braiden Blair

Our theme for the year is Happily Ever After - Finding our place in His-story.
Romans 15:4 “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”
